Action for the City, Caritas Switzerland and Catholic Relief Services are the currently participating organizations.  The workshop focused on evaluating strengths and weaknesses of the first round of action from August 2008 – April 2009, and the organizations made new action plans for the coming months. Areas of focus include reducing pollution and waste through electricity and paper use in the office and transportation to and from work. Compared to the same period a year ago, between October and January, Caritas and CRS both reduced their electricity consumption by 27%! AFC does not have data available from last year to make a comparison; however, the office did decrease its electricity consumption every month between October and January.
