GAP (Global Action Plan Organization) has created a similar program with schools in Ukraine which Action for the City can use as a starting point to base itself on. Working with teachers, we researched and tested new teaching methods, instructed students about green living at school and at home: classifying garbage, measuring the amount of garbage of their own houses, making organic compost, discussing nutrition, posturing and relaxing for better health.

After joining the club for four months, students were fully aware of harmful effects of waste on the environment; understood their ecological footprint, and knew how to remain in good health.
