Action for the City’s social marketing campaign for Thanh Xuan Organic Vegetables (www.rauthanhxuan.com) continues in full swing and has been especially busy the past month.

There have been several local presentations to educate Hanoians about the benefits of organic farming and introduce them to Thanh Xuan Organic Vegetables

 On April 24, ACCDstaff and Thanh Xuan farmers did an educational presentation at RMIT for students and staff. On May 8, staff did a presentation at UNIS for 70 third graders, including a thrilling game of “Who Wants to Be an Organic Millionaire” in which students recalled what they had just learned from the presentation in a game show format. On May 24, staff gave a presentation and participated in discussion at the Talking Green Club, a university student club that combines learning about environmental issues and practicing English as a new language.

ACCD staff also (wo)manned a Thanh Xuan Organic Vegetables stall at the Morning Star Kindergarten Summer Fete, which involved giving away free veggies and talking with parents about the project and how to sign up for the veggie bag scheme.
